Minou

Doll by Al Goulet
from... Worcester, MA

Meow Everyone,

My name is Minou.. that's French for Kitty. I'm an adaptation from an original pattern by Michelle Munzone titled Queen purrsha.. But I can't earn the title of Queen.. well maybe a Drag Queen. you see I"m a BOY. I found this cape in the Alley... how appropriate..Fishes.. a nighttime snack.. Yummy!

I'm made of a mottled kind of fabric,, and some fake fur, paint, and all kinds of embellishment.. I do stand alone.. but I"m still a little clumsy.. so my standy helps me.

Hope you like me.

Raymond

Doll by Diane R. Smith
from... Anniston, AL

This is Raymond bear made out of a vintage Simplicity pattern.

What is special about this bear is that it was made for my husband's 70th birthday and it was made using overalls that belonged to his dad!
The overalls that the bear is wearing were made using my own pattern and using the fabric from the same overalls.

Dad's overalls are special because that is all he wore even to go to church, so we think of Raymond when we see his overall now made into two bears, one for my husband and one for our daughter.

Zeke – little wolf

Doll by Crystal Garvey
from... Bremerton, WA

Zeke is a plush wolf created using a pattern by Pretty Toys. He is all hand made by me. He has jointed arms and legs. He is made with long pile faux fur.

Once upon a time.. long before Blanchette made her trip to grandma's house through the woods… an unliikely friendship began. Little wolf Zeke saw baby Blanchette playing in the garden and they became fast friends spending all their time together.
