Princess Froggy

This is my own pattern. She is Princess Froggy and she lives at Emerald Pond, south of Dreamland. She is the daughter of Prince Charming III. This is her first play outfit and she is very excited about it.

The doll is thread jointed with hand quilted webbing in her feet and hands. She has eyelids, black animal eyes, and fun fur yarn hair. Her dress is fully lined.

Candy

Made from Molly Monkey pattern by Judi Ward with purchased clothes, dress and matching panties.

I renamed her Candy as she isn't the traditional monkey liking monkey food, she likes human food and is crazy about candy so that is why I gave her the name Candy. Please don't call her a monkey as she gets very insulted because she thinks she's human and she will chat with me in human language and with other household members monkey chatter. She named her little bear Honey and will not put her down anywhere and takes great care of her. She would make a great mother by the way she takes care of her little bear.

Ella Karen

This was a very special project of Love for my tiny granddaughter who made her entry 3 months ahead of schedule, weighing in at 3 and a half pounds of pure magic.

I went in search of a special Birth Announcement to commemorate her wintry arrival and found a Brenda Coulter pattern that asks "Do you know where baby fairies sleep?" In a pod of course. Now Sweet Pea, a. . Ella Karen dreams warm and secure in her pod, nestled in a basket of silk in front of her parent's Wedding picture.

Special Mention by Voters.  Why...

I love this tribute to her Grand Daughter very touching

This is a very well executed doll that was designed by
someone other than the person who created the pattern. The final
product exceeds the original design in that it shows the artistic
skill of the person sewing the parts and pieces, yet still retains the
original design.

Very different.

OH my reading about her special grand angel brought tears to my eyes. This artist created this baby straight from her heart.

Sonia

I made little SONIA from Vicki Riley Danny G pattern. She's made from doe suede, she have sculpted features and embroidered facial features. I bought her a vintage two piece set, and give her a pink hairbows. She holds her little doll, that is again a Dinky baby from Vicki. I made dolly from doe suede and pink chenille and added a little red heart.

SONIA is the special monkey I made for my "real" baby :-)
