This puppy has been named Pomme. She is made using all natural materials. Her fluffy fur is organic cotton. She is stuffed with warm wool. Her overalls are handmade by me. She is approximately 14" and very soft and huggable. She loves running through the grass and trying to catch butterflies. She's never caught one but one landed on her nose once and she says it's given her really good luck.

Marinella hold on leash her playfellow! It is a rare baby of "Lace-fish" ...

Marinella and her baby fish also have a job: in the real life they are a bookends.

Marinella sits on a quartz crystal, her tail is hand embroidered, Pippo's leash is wire, 24 cm tall. Everything from my own original design. The entire group is handmade by myself.

My designs start by finding a picture of an actual animal. I then deconstruct the elements, sketch pattern pieces and tape/fold the pieces in order to create a 3D image. When I am satisfied with its adorableness, I cut out my fabric and sew the proto type by hand. This one was designed to actually "suck" on your pinky finger! She is 10 inches tall.

Pinky is a frilly and precious concoction in her iridescent pleated lace tutu dress and Rumba diaper. She's waiting patiently to be taken to the summer ice cream social and hoping that they will have her favorite PB&J flavor....

It wouldn't clog up her baby bottle!

My baby animal for the challenge is Meow Mix, a pattern by Sweet Meadows Farm. Miss Kitty is a tiny kitty, and only measures 10 inches tall . Her body is made of muslin that I later painted to give her character and bring her to life. I added a tail to her that wasn’t included on the pattern, because she reminds me of our family cat who had a nice long tail. In addition to her dress and headband, I also made her a little blanket so she could sit and play with her wooden blocks and babies.I think she would love to be a little girl or boys new companion.

My animal bunny for the baby doll challenge is Simply Bunnies by Sweet Meadows Farm. She is a muslin bunny that has been tea stained, and I painted her eyes on afterwards. She measures only 10 inches tall and was fun to make her and her coordinating dress and headband. After she was dressed, I decided she needed a little blanket and sweater set that I made without a pattern, because I think it adds to the overall design to complete the look. What every bunny needs is their own carrot, I made hers also from muslin and painted it as well.
