" Lalla " the Butterfly

" Lalla " the Butterfly, is a my project and one of my first over pattern! Lalla has been made by fabric cotton , the wings have been constructed with a double layer of Angelina fiber with armor allowing you to place and fold the wings. The same for ear with internal reinforcement . To create Lalla , I been inspired by the spring , in the world of the fairies, and the long walks in the park with my dachshund.
"Lalla" la farfalla, è un mio progetto ed un mio primo cartamodello finito! Lalla è stata fatta con stoffa in cotone, le ali sono state costruite con un doppio strato di Angelina fiber ed una armatura interna permette di posizionare e piegare le ali. Lo stesso per le orecchie dotate di armatura interna. Per creare Lalla, mi sono ispirata alla primavera, al mondo delle fate, e alle lunghe passeggiate al parco con la mia bassotta.

"Elfis", the Alpaca
|
|

Elfis was made after a trip to a local alpaca ranch. He's completely needle-felted from alpaca fibers that were grown on the ranch grounds. There is no pattern for him, instead he was made from a photo that I took of a funny little alpaca at the ranch with long eyelashes, a cute under-bite, and a curious smile. His head is tipped at an angle, just like his namesake did, while analyzing me the day we met.
Meet Elfis the Baby Alpaca. He has a goofy grin with an under-bite... quite possibly the cutest little guy ever. Notice his curly lock of hair on his forehead?
Yes, he is actually an "Elfis Impersonator". The real Elfis lives at a nearby alpaca ranch and works hard growing fiber for crafters. He's a silly little guy that followed me around and insisted that he be in my pictures. Since I couldn't take him home with me, I did the next best thing: I used his pictures to make a doll of him!
